What did we get?

Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($12.50)

Menu Description: 5yr Old White Cheddar, Avocado, Sundried Tomato Pesto, on Pumpernickel Bread

We love our cheese aged and melted and that's exactly what we had for lunch! The avocado is added after the cheese is heated up, as to not brown the avo and everything remains intact and vibrant. The richness of the pesto was tamed by the pumpernickel - we really enjoyed this one.

Tuna Tartare with Smashed Avocado ($21)

Menu Description: Sashimi Grade Tuna, Avocado, Sesame Oil, Roasted Red Onions, Cilantro, Chili, Lime, Toasted Baguette

Are you ready for a savoury party in your mouth? Then you better order the tartare. This fresh tuna drizzled in some delicious sesame oil gives the dish a slight asian after taste. The baguette is thinly slices and crispy, which helps support the mountain of tuna.

Macarons ($2.65)

If savoury isn’t your thing and you’re sweet tooth is constantly bugging you, we ordered the Gourmet French Macarons. They were so light and airy! They have 12 types to choose from; from cinnamon bun, to coffee crunch, and carrot de leche - you really can’t go wrong with whichever you choose. If you still aren’t in the mood for anything too sweet or savoury, we also recommend the croissants ($3.25 each). With enough flavour to enjoy on their own, or even with a coffee; you can really taste the freshness.
