What’s Rasa Known For?

Rasa is another one of the Food Dudes wonderful creations in Toronto. It’s a more

intimate dining experience and all the plates are meant for sharing – but you

still leave the restaurant feeling extremely full. They have a great deal on

Mondays for a set menu of only $40/person so if you’re ever in the mood to

treat yourself on a Monday – Rasa is where it’s at. We were celebrating a

birthday the night we visited, and we were pleased that the staff provided us

with a delicious complimentary ice cream and a gift card for the birthday person

to come back and have a drink next time!

What did we get?

To start, we ordered the chopped salad ($17). We’re not one to order salads at

restaurants but this salad was next level. The amount of ingredients and flavours

that come together are delicious and make you forget you’re eating a salad in

the first place. The dressing is wiped on the side of the bowl as a decorative

garnish – so we were basically licking the bowl clean when we reached the end of the

salad!

Rasa Burger ($19)

We then got the rasa burger ($19) which was finger lickin’ good. The key is the meat that

they use – it’s not regular beef, it’s beef cheek…weird right? Wrong. The burger

was damn good with the provolone cheese and gochujang mayo to top it off.

Brussel Sprouts ($14)

We also got the brussel sprouts ($14) – so healthy right? They were topped with cheese and dressed with scotch bonnet vinegar, so it was a modern twist on brussel sprouts. Each bite seemed to taste different in the best possible way.
